We are Dr. Lydia Gil Keff (Puerto Rico/Cuba) and Dr. Sergio A. Macías (Mexico)—professors, storytellers, and travelers with decades of experience teaching Spanish and Latin American culture at U.S. universities.

No. Our trips are fully bilingual. With two guides, you can choose to experience the immersion entirely in Spanish, entirely in English, or a mix of both—no matter your level of Spanish, whether none at all, basic, intermediate, or advanced, we’ve got you covered.

Groups are intentionally small, capped at 12 participants. This allows for meaningful connections, flexibility, and a more personal experience within the group and with the communities we visit.
